- What changed in the 2026 enhanced TOEFL iBT?
- The test is shorter, Reading and Listening are multistage adaptive — how you do early decides which module you get next, and that caps how high you can score — and results are reported on a 1–6 band scale with a CEFR estimate rather than the old points. Most prep material still describes the test as it was before January. Every one of the 12 games here is built for the current one.
- Is DreamArcade free?
- Every game is free to play, with no card. $19 a month unlocks the full holdout bank — 10 timed papers and 1,262 questions you have never seen — plus 2 pieces of writing read and signed by a human teacher each month.
- How is my Speaking scored?
- Speech is recognised in your own browser, so nothing is uploaded and nothing is charged for it. You get word-level accuracy against the target immediately, and a band with the reasoning behind it when you sit a paper.
- Do I practise on the same material the test uses?
- No, and that is enforced rather than promised. Game content and test content are separate bodies of writing, and the build fails if any passage overlaps between them. A passage you have already studied measures your memory of that session, not your reading.
